New process to get lab work done at PRMC

We have updated the process to get lab work done at PRMC. Just like if you are going to have Imaging done, you should first check in at admissions, patients will go through the same steps with laboratory orders. Patients will need to go to the volunteer front desk to sign their name in, will then be called by one of our patient access representatives. By going thru Admissions first, we can confirm insurance is correct and eligibility checked, get address and information verified. Patients can also sign up for the patient portal where your test results will later be posted and staff can make sure all orders are in correctly. For lab work on weekends and after 4:30 P.M. weekdays, patients will need to sign in at the switchboard
