The Auxiliary of Pratt Regional Medical Center
is an organization that gives you the opportunity
to volunteer your time and give of yourself
to others. Volunteering is a wonderful way
to reach out to those in need. As a volunteer
at Pratt Regional Medical Center, you have
the opportunity to add to the quality of healthcare
by providing the many extras that enhance
the services of the professional staff. Volunteers
are a vital part of the excellent quality
of care and service that makes Pratt Regional
Medical Center “Simply the Best.”
TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP AND VOLUNTEER
OPPORTUNITIES
There are two classifications of membership
in the Auxiliary. The Associate Membership
is for those persons unable to volunteer within
the hospital setting, but who want to be a
part of the organization. These members provide
support with special projects and events,
and monetary donation. The Active Membership
is for those volunteers that want to be involved
in working directly with patients, or other
departments in the hospital. These areas include
the Gift Shop, Patient Service, Escort Service,
Guest Services Desk, both in the medical center
and in the medical complex. Volunteers may
also have an interest in fundraising, crafts,
sewing and many other duties, as needed. If
you have a few hours of extra time on your
hands, there’s an area for volunteering
to suit you. Helping others instills a good
feeling in all of us.
