Thank
you for your interest in the Pratt Medical Society
Scholarship Program. The scholarship of $1000 is awarded
in two installments of $500 for each semester of a
student’s freshman year of college. In order
for a student to receive the second semester scholarship,
he or she must maintain a 3.2 grade point average
in the first semester of college.
To
help in determining the recipient of this award, the
scholarship committee suggests that you submit a double-spaced
essay of approximately two pages in length that includes
the following information:
- Name

High school
- Date
of essay submission
-
Area of interest in the health care field
- Why
you are interested in health care and in particular
your chosen area of the field
- Extracurricular
involvement and volunteer activities

And most importantly, impressions about your shadowing
experiences
