A
group of 4-H’ers learned a little about quilting,
and a lot about giving this summer. The summer
program hosted by the Pratt County Extension Office
is taught by Jean Clarkson Frisbie.
Each
year the students spend a week making a quilted project
for themselves and one baby quilt to give away. “Just
before we give our blanket away we read Quiltmaker’s
Gift, which is a story about giving of your talents,”
explained Frisbie.
The
lucky baby who received the quilt this year is Emma
Roadhouse. She was born at PRMC Family Birth
Suites on June 9, 2005. Her parents are Kraig and
Amy Roadhouse, and she has two brothers Drew and Derek.
PRMC
is thankful to the youth who participated in this
project for choosing our Family Birth Suites as an
avenue to reach a new baby.
