| Below,
there is information on donating to the Festival of
Lights, as well as listings of honorariums and memorials
made.
THE
2007 PHF GIFTS AND BEQUESTS PROGRAM PROJECT
Annually
PRMC and PHF choose medical equipment projects to
fund with the Festival of Lights gifts. Since the
average shelf life of medical equipment is 3-5 years,
constant funding, above and beyond the operational
budget, is needed to purchase technical medical equipment.
Due
to the ongoing volume of technical/medical equipment
needs, the Festival of Lights program has not designated
a particular goal this year. Gifts, memorials and
honorariums will be pooled and applied to the “Simply
the Best” Capital Campaign.
HISTORY & PURPOSE
- Festival
of Lights program was founded in 1983. The program
was developed to help fund purchases of technical
medical equipment for Pratt Regional Medical Center.
- During
the Christmas season, people can make a seasonal
contributions, remember family members or recognize
those who helped shape their lives. Contributions
of $10 and up will provide appropriate recognition.
- In
2006 the work of the GIfts and Bequests Committee
was transferred to the Pratt Health Foundation.
The Foundation will maintain the Gifts and Bequests
Program in honor of those who dedicated their lives
to its formation.
