Resident Testimonials
“I want to Thank You All for taking good care of my Dad! While in Pratt visiting my folks, families & friends, it was a pleasure to have come in contact with each of you! You all have shown your care & compassion, not only to my Dad but all other patients as well! I know in my heart & soul, my Dad (Raymond) adores & appreciates each & every one! Kudos to all of you! Again, Thank You!!!”
With Appreciation!

“Since you have started the new menus, the food has been great! Sometimes when they offer desserts, I just think, ‘This is amazing!’ Some of the people working here are darn good. When I see them coming, I get a twinkle in my eye. They are that good.”

Diana Mabie
LTC Support Employee of the Month
August 2010
|
This award is presented to Diana Mabie for selection as:
LTC Unit Support Employee of the Month—August 2010.
Diana has distinguished herself as a critical member of the long term care team. She is the poster child for a “can do,” “customer first” service attitude ranks as among the very best. Diana is one of the primary players in dietary and as such will work any job, any time, with virtually no notice to insure the kitchen is staffed to run smoothly, exceptional service is performed and safety is observed at all times.
The kitchen is the only department that gets graded as pass/fail at least three times a day, 365 days a year. As such, Diana pays particular attention to special resident requests, likes, dislikes and snacks. She understands the importance of special diets and knows who is on one. She coaches about meal selections, encourages and cues other to keep eating, and at the same time greets everyone with a smile. She has a keen eye for those that may need or want seconds or something different all together. Diana handles all the dining room chaos cheerfully and without complaint.
Every facility needs more team members like Diana Mabie. She serves as a terrific role model for all who promote “Person Centered Care” and strive to be the very best! Her attention to detail, high standards of quality related to food handling and safety, understanding of the frail elderly and desire to be “Simply the Best,” brings great credit to herself and contributes to the evolving tradition of excellence at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center.
Awarded this 6th Day of August, 2010.
