This award is presented to Cathy Neuburger for selection as:
LTC Support Employee of the Month—May 2010.  Cathy has distinguished herself as a critical member of the long term care team whose “customer first” attitude and flexibility ranks as among the very best.  She eagerly takes on new opportunities to attend to any resident or family concern.  Her work here seems to fulfill an inner drive to serve.

Cathy pays particular attention to resident preferences and instantly responds to requests to get ready for an unexpected admission, look for bugs or locate missing articles of clothing.  She has willingly transferring to different departments and changing duty hours to accommodate our needs.  She has worked as a CNA, dietary aide and in laundry and housekeeping.  In many ways, she simply flies under the radar.  She provides a steady influence on the organization—rooms are thoroughly cleaned, messes get cleaned up, laundry gets done, stuff gets found, residents are happier and families more satisfied.

Cathy serves as a terrific role model for all who promote “Person Centered Care” and strive to be the very best!  Her attention to detail, high standards of quality, character, honesty, attention to safety rules, understanding of the frail elderly, “customer service” attitude, communication skill and desire to be “Simply the Best,” brings great credit to himself and contributes to the tradition of excellence at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center.
