Resident Testimonials

“I want to Thank You All for taking good care of my Dad!  While in Pratt visiting my folks, families & friends, it was a pleasure to have come in contact with each of you!  You all have shown your care & compassion, not only to my Dad but all other patients as well!  I know in my heart & soul, my Dad (Raymond) adores & appreciates each & every one!  Kudos to all of you!  Again, Thank You!!!”

With Appreciation!
Kelly B. Rauhut, Gardnerville, NV.

“Since you have started the new menus, the food has been great! Sometimes when they offer desserts, I just think, ‘This is amazing!’  Some of the people working here are darn good.  When I see them coming, I get a twinkle in my eye. They are that good.”

Carlos Polk, Ed.S.

Samantha Mayes
LTC Support Employee of the Month
September 2010

Samantha Mayes

This award is presented to Samantha Mayes for selection as: LTC Support Employee of the Month—September 2010. Sam has distinguished herself as a critical member of the long term care team whose “customer first” attitude and flexibility ranks as among the best. She eagerly takes on new opportunities to attend to any resident or family concern. Sam might be asked to be freshened up a resident room for a sudden new admission. She may be asked to drop what she is doing to help look for an article of clothing or a bathroom needs immediate attention--now.

Samantha willingly transfers to different departments and changes duty hours to accommodate our needs. She is always available to help paint doors after hours or help recondition resident rooms so that they are quickly ready for a new admission. She understands the value of a great first impression and does everything in her power with make moving in and living here a good experience. She is a person who simply flies under the radar. She provides a steady influence on the organization. She is an example of “Servant Leadership"—rooms get thoroughly cleaned, messes cleaned up, laundry gets done residents are happier and families more satisfied.

Samantha serves as a worthy role model for all who promote “Person Centered Care” and strive to be the very best! Her attention to detail, high standards of quality, character, honesty, attention to safety, “customer service” attitude, communication skill and desire to be “Simply the Best,” brings great credit to herself and contributes to the evolving tradition of excellence at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center.

Awarded this 3rd Day of September 2010.
