“I want to Thank You All for taking good care of my Dad! While in Pratt visiting my folks, families & friends, it was a pleasure to have come in contact with each of you! You all have shown your care & compassion, not only to my Dad but all other patients as well! I know in my heart & soul, my Dad (Raymond) adores & appreciates each & every one! Kudos to all of you! Again, Thank You!!!”
With Appreciation!

“Since you have started the new menus, the food has been great! Sometimes when they offer desserts, I just think, ‘This is amazing!’ Some of the people working here are darn good. When I see them coming, I get a twinkle in my eye. They are that good.”

|
This award is presented to Amy Hecker, CMA, for selection as:
Long Term Care Unit Nursing Employee of the Month—May 2010. Amy has distinguished herself as a critical member of the long term care team. Amy has a calm, quiet, self assured demeanor that inspires confidence and trust in those for whom she cares. She is especially effective at training new staff members. It does not take long for one to see that she is a self starter and seizes the initiative. Additionally, you can feel the depth of her experience and professionalism.
Amy never gets rattled during a medical emergency. She has good insight into subtle changes in residents’ conditions and can recommend or implement intervention as appropriate. She pays particular attention to the management of pain. Importantly for team members, residents and families, her positive mental attitude never changes. Her insight and understanding about how to get uncooperative residents to participate in their care is among the best on our staff.
Amy Hecker serves as a superior role model for all medication aides who strive to be the very best! She is 100% trustworthy, thorough, compassionate, kind and always willing to help team members wherever needed. Amy’s attention to detail related to medication administration and desire to be “Simply the Best” brings great credit to herself, all certified medication aides and contributes significantly to the reputation of excellence at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center.
