This award is presented to Tyler Besser, CNA, for selection as:
Long Term Care Unit Nursing Employee of the Month—September 2010. Tyler has distinguished himself as a critical member of the long term care team. He has quickly developed himself into a self assured Nurse’s Aide who inspires confidence and trust. He is especially effective at taking on the challenges of providing care and bathing male residents who are ornery or disagreeable. It does not take long for one to see that Tyler is a self starter looking to seize the initiative.
Tyler never seems to get rattled by all the simultaneous and competing demands for his time and effort. He has good insight into changes in residents’ conditions and carries out the directions of the nurse supervisors as appropriate. A lesser person might complain that they always seem to get the tough jobs. Importantly for team members, residents and families, Tyler comes to work armed with a gait belt around his shoulder and a positive mental attitude that never changes.
Tyler Besser serves as a superior role model for all nurse’s aides who strive to be the very best! He is 100% trustworthy, thorough, compassionate, kind and always willing to help team members wherever needed. Tyler’s attention to detail related to the duties of a developing nurse’s aide and desire to be “Simply the Best” brings great credit to himself, all certified nurse’s aides and contributes significantly to the evolving reputation of excellence at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center.
