The goal of Dietary at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center (PRRC) is to create a pleasurable dining experience for all customers by offering delicious meals and excellent service while at the same time meeting the nutritional needs of all residents.
Every effort is made to be attentive to customer requests. Each resident’s likes and dislikes are on record. Normally we offer a restaurant style selective menu with several choices related to: entrée; vegetable; starch and desserts. If you prefer something different than what is offered (i.e.-grilled cheese, burger, fries, soup, sandwich, etc) please ask the server. Every effort is made to accommodate special requests. Nutritious snacks are offered and available 24/7. Each dietary team member works to earn distinction as “Simply the Best.”
Hours of Operation:
Breakfast 6:30 – 9:00 am
Lunch 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
Dinner 5:00 – 6:30 pm
Snacks are normally available at: 10:00 am; 3:00 pm; and 8:00 pm., and always “as needed” or upon request.
At PRRC, the dietary department consists of a dietary manager, cooks and dietary aides. The Dietary Manager works with the hospital dietitian to provide residents with meals that are healthy and delicious. We also work with each resident`s physician to provide them the best diet for their needs. In an effort to optimize the therapeutic benefits of our service, residents are encouraged to eat in the dining room unless they are too ill that day to do so.

Mechanical Altered (ground, puree)
No concentrated or limited sweets
No added Salt
No added Fat
Throughout the year, we bring residents, families, friends and staff together for special meals where the menu might consist of potluck or barbecue.
