Resident Testimonials

“I want to Thank You All for taking good care of my Dad!  While in Pratt visiting my folks, families & friends, it was a pleasure to have come in contact with each of you!  You all have shown your care & compassion, not only to my Dad but all other patients as well!  I know in my heart & soul, my Dad (Raymond) adores & appreciates each & every one!  Kudos to all of you!  Again, Thank You!!!”

With Appreciation!

“Since you have started the new menus, the food has been great! Sometimes when they offer desserts, I just think, ‘This is amazing!’  Some of the people working here are darn good.  When I see them coming, I get a twinkle in my eye. They are that good.”

Carlos Polk, Ed.S.

Pratt Rehabilitation & Residence Center
Has New Administrator

Renae Kersenbrock

January 16, 2007 - Pratt Regional Medical Center is pleased to introduce Renae Kersenbrock as the new administrator at Pratt Rehabilitation & Residence Center. Kersenbrock is new to the Pratt community, but not to rural Kansas.

“I’ve lived the majority of my life in northwest Kansas, and the last three years in Newton,” Kersenbrock said. Kersenbrock has worked in long-term care for eight years, and received her administrator’s license three years ago. “I believe my love for the elderly stems from knowing all my grandparents and great-grandparents.”

Kersenbrock completed her Bachelor’s Degree from Fort Hays State University, and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Human Resource, also from Fort Hays State University.

Pratt Rehabilitation & Residence Center is currently undergoing change, and Renae is optimistic about the future. “I believe PRRC has great potential. I am looking forward to working with the staff, and I am anxious to get acquainted with the Pratt community,” she said.

Kersenbrock has been married to her husband, Dwayne, for 28 years. They have two grown children who are both in college. Kersenbrock enjoys the outdoors, photography, music, walking and spending time with family and their dog, Izzy.

If you are a member of a club or organization, please keep in mind that Renae is available to speak to your group on behalf of Pratt Rehabilitation & Residence Center about issues relating to the elderly. To contact Renae, please call 672-3424 or you may e-mail her at rkersenbrock@prmc.org.
