Pratt Regional Medical Center Marketing Efforts Honored in Statewide Competition

Pratt Regional Medical Center was recognized for excellence in public relations and marketing for the Total Joint Video Academy produced for South Central Kansas Bone and Joint Center patients and Pratt Prevention Partnership efforts involving the opioid crisis, created by Andie Dean, Community Relations Manager at PRMC.

Presented by the Kansas Association of Health Care Communicators, the Emerald Awards are given annually to hospitals across the state that excel in internal communications, external communications, special events, advertising, and other categories. Marketing professionals from Georgia with extensive health care experience evaluated this year’s 44 entries for planning and research, implementation, cost effectiveness, and results.  Only 25 entries received Emerald Awards, and 2 were awarded for Dean’s efforts at PRMC.

The Emerald Awards were presented at the Kansas Association of Health Care Communicators Spring Conference on April 12, in Hutchinson, Kan.

“Our entire organization is proud of the excellent public relations and marketing efforts that earned this outstanding recognition,” said Susan Page, PRMC’s chief executive officer.
